Bear Hugs

Hey guys! Hope everyone's weekend is going good. As for myself, it has been a busy back to school weekend. Kids start school tomorrow morning. Yikes, summer break just flew by. Anyway, tonight I wanna share my card for Kraftin' Kimmies challenge 141-No People Allowed. Awhile back, I won a Kraftin' Kimmie challenge and this is the stamp I got. :-) so cute and perfect for this challenge.

I tried to do something a little different with my layout and embellishments. After all was said and done, I was really happy with the results. :-)

I used my prisma color pencils to color this image. I tried my best to make the bears look like they had real fur. I think it looks ok for a first try.

Last but not least, my bow! And let me tell u, I am super proud of it! I usually struggle with bows, but this one was done on the first try yaaay me! Hope u all like it! Wish me luck! Hugs! Deb

A tag for my daughter

Hello bloggers, just a quick post to share a tag I made for my daughter. She recently had her 6th birthday. (tear) she had been asking me to make her a big girl card so I thought it would be a nice surprise for her. I chose the tag style so she could hang it on her bedroom wall. She absolutely loved it. Thank you all for stopping by. Hugs! Deb

Green grass and blue skys...

Hello everyone! Long time no see! Today I'm going to share a card I made using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Jeannie. She is such a cutie!!!! I absolutely fell in love with her the first time I laid eyes on her. Today was also my first attempt at a background behind a stamped image. I think I still need practice but I was happy with how it came out. (for being my first try and all) I used my copic markers for my image and the sidewalk, My prisma pencils for the grass, and my blending chalks for the sky. I will be entering this cutie to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Sketchy Challenge. Wish me luck! Thanks for stopping by today! also im having a hard time getting new followers, any tips you might have for me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again! Hugs!!! Deb

My first boy card...

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to share my first boy card ever! And believe me, it was a challenge! I'm so use to having flowers, bling and glitter. This time I really struggled to not add any of those things. I did manage to add one of my favorites, pebbles. I just love the look they add to my cards. Since father's day is right around the corner, I used that as my inspiration for this lil guy. I will be entering this card to Lili's Little Fairies Challenge, One for the Boys. Sooo wish my luck! And thanks for stopping by! Hugs! Deb

Time for a tag...

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to share my first try at a tag. I've been looking around blog land for inspiration lately and have come across ALOT of tag style cards. So I decieded to give it a shot and I absolutely love the way it came out! The papers do most of the work so I just added some gems and flowers. And some stickles of course! Shes a sassy so she really needed some sparkle! I also used some of those cool pebbles just to give it some extra character. Hope you all like it as much as I do! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs! Deb

Sending some love

Hello everyone! Well here I am with a late night post due to my lack of creativity. I sure did have a hard time with this one. I colored my image with distress inks and watercolor paints. At first I thought it looked horrible!!! Yikes! But after she dried I was actually surprised at how cute she was. Yaaay! I added a lil stickles and diamond glaze to give it that sparkle I'm so addicted to. My paper was another "bad choice" I had to live with. After it was all said and done I was very pleased. I added some gems, brads, and flowers to complete this cutie. Now shes ready to be sent, with love, to Abby. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs!!! Deb
